Singapore’s Changi is no longer the world’s best airport according to Skytrax

Doha’s Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Qatar has been named the World’s Best Airport by Skytrax, taking the title from Singapore’s Changi Airport (SIN).

DOH was awarded the title at the World Airport Awards, held at Passenger Terminal EXPO in Frankfurt on April 17, 2024.

The winner was chosen based on passenger satisfaction surveys between August 2023 and March 2024. Passengers evaluated key airport services, such as check-in and transfer experiences, immigration clearance, shopping and departures.

This is the third time DOH Airport has been given the title of world’s best by Skytrax, after winning the title in 2021 and 2022. The airport also clinched the title of World’s Best Airport Shopping for the second time in a row and Best Airport in the Middle East for the 10th consecutive year.
