Quito, Ecuador Schedules Runway Maintenance

Maintenance Planned Well in Advance for Equatorial Aerodrome Ecuador’s Mariscal Sucre Quito International Airport has announced a few chunks of downtime for runway maintenance, describing some taxiway work and mainline repairs that will put the airport out of commission for windows in May, June, July, and September. The maintenance work will cover more than 70,000 square meters of runway, helping to prevent emergency corrective work should existing wear and tear worsen in the future.
