Kissimmee Sees Hangar Expansions

Sheltair to Add 40,000 Square Feet of Parking Space in 2.7 Acres of Hangars The City of Kissimmee’s Economic Development Department has approved the construction of new hangars at Florida’s Kissimmee Gateway Airport, choosing Sheltair for the work. The portfolio of Sheltair-managed and built facilities there already includes about 115,973 square feet across 86 individual hangar units. The new construction will span about 2.70 acres, adding 3 new hangars and 9 “oversized” t-hangars for a total of 17,622 square feet of parking space. That’s not all, as 10 box hangars measuring 50 by 50 feet will add another 25,000 square feet to the Sheltair kingdom.
